The following World Over Live is from last week (on August 1).  The main topic is about the press conference that Pope Francis had on the plane on the way home from World Youth Day in Brazil.

What is known as the “Mass Media” or “Main Stream Media” (among other monikers) talked about one comment the Holy Father made about homosexuals who are do their best to live a holy life – “Who am I to judge?”  In standard MM fashion, rather than reporting the truth, the MM lifts a quote (“Who am I to judge?”) out of the context of the words, and runs with them, trying to pit Pope Francis against the teachings of the Catholic faith.

However, many other subjects were discussed, such as someone who has been divorced and pastoral care, whether women could become ordained (the answer is ‘no’, of course) etc.

Other stories discussed in this World Over – the NSA surveillance, ObamaCare, etc.  It was a very interesting episode.

Among other guests on the show are His Excellency, Robert Morlino of Madison, Wisconsin and Father Joseph Fessio.
